Can you pinpoint Sierra Leone? How about Uruguay, Moldova or Kyrgyzstan? We’re embarrassed to admit we can’t either.
We’ll be starting a new series to help you get to know our world, one country at a time, one continent at a time. We don’t promise that our country features will be exhaustive or that you’ll become instant geography experts. But maybe we’ll get a foothold– images of places and faces– that will help us to make this all more personal, more immediate and more real.
